@Ferdinand: Here is the movie's IMDB page. Says a January 22, 2012 release date in Indonesia. It's probably playing at TIFF to secure worldwide distribution. I'm sure it will find a domestic distributor, should know about that soon. BTW here's the tagline: "1 Ruthless Crime Lord, 20 Elite Cops, 30 Floors of Hell".

As an action addict, I cannot remember the last time I saw a trailer for an action movie that gave me goosebumps. I haven't seen something that kinetic and visceral since I don't even know when. Shades of the feeling that watching The Killer/Hard Boiled gives me, and I never say that. Ever. For those interested, that director/star team made an action movie a few years ago called MERANTAU that's just stunning. Far and away the best action movie coming out of anywhere recently, and it's streaming on Netflix Instant. Go now. It's kung fu, not as gun-focused as The Raid looks like, in case that changes your mind. But seriously. Go. You won't be disappointed.

I'm torn. Huge action fan. This looks like the action me would be satisfied a thousand times over. But WTF is the movie about? About halfway through the trailer I really wanted to know why these people were beating the piss out of each other.
