Thanks for the interview! I am heading down a similar path. I have always been an avid movie person and thought it would be interesting to be in the industry but went with a more practical college major (engineering). A few years later it occurred to me that there was nothing stopping me from writing a script except for a lot of hard work. So I started writing a story that had been floating around in my head for 10 years. I also am planning on making a short because I am also interested in the movie making process and hope it will also help me get my script read.
