Not wishing to jump the gun, but I think it's going to be well worth discussing the sheer 'readability' of Gladiator versus the, IMHO, really tough read that is Bridesmaids.
And you'd have put money on it being the other way round wouldn't you?

How are we moving forward with this? Are specific days of the week going to be dedicated to different elements of the script?
Scott at 2011-09-05 08:07:26:
@Lazzard: I think we can definitely do some comparisons between scripts as we go along. Would suggest waiting until next week to comment on Bridesmaids so others have chance to read it.

@Sean: This is what I had originally suggested:

Monday: Structure
Tuesday: Characters
Wednesday: Dialogue
Thursday: Scenes
Friday: Themes

But after some discussion, it just seemed like we should feel our way through the process and see how it evolves.

That said if there is enough sustained interest each week to break down the script along the lines of the categories above, I think it would be beneficial.

So we'll see.

I may not be doing this right, but I've analyzed GLADIATOR for a class I teach on fiction writing.

I'd like to throw my 2 cents in.

How do we do this?
