I am so glad you brought this series back. Not only is Serling generous with his knowledge but he leaves room for other ways of doing it. He is not trying to be the arbiter of "the process". It just goes to show that everyone has to find the way that works for them. It is important to remember that.

BTW did you ever see the interview he did for the University of Kansas's "Science Fiction in Literature" series. It's in two parts and worth every minute.

It's cool seeing all these interviews now that I'm watching the The Twilight Zone on Netflix. You can actually see what he's talking about in his work.
