I'm a dialogue junkie and I've always felt, along with Glengarry Glen Ross, that Good Will Hunting has some of the most melodic exchanges ever.

Still, as long as Shawshank is on this list, and since it's, as we've talked about numerous times on these pages, a PERFECT script (go ahead, find me some flaws, I dare you...), we'd be fools not to dissect that first.

3:10 to yuma

I second Jeffrey, in that Good Will Hunting is a pure Drama in the sense it's about people and their emotional change over time. No long action sequences or society on the verge of destruction. Just a group of friends trying to find their way in the world.

Fahrenheit 451.

I like that script better than his Shawshank script. Sue me. It's stunning.

The King's Speech.

I've already read a few of these but would like to reread them with you. (3:10 to Yuma; Shawshank; Dead Poet's Society; Thelma & Louise). But I'd like to start with something different I guess. I say Good Will Hunting as well. (4 scripts on mypdfscripts.com)

3:10 to Yuma
Good Will Hunting
Dead Poet's Society
JAWS

Ooo... this series will be awesome!
Laura Deerfield at 2011-08-17 15:17:36:
I love Shawshank, but would rather work with a script I haven't already read and read about multiple times.

My preference is for one of the following

Fahrenheit 451

Never Let Me Go

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Ordinary People

Good Will Hunting -- notable for breaking two unknowns into the biz in a major way.

The King's Speech -- as this year's Oscar winner. The freshness is appealing.

I'll vote for No Country this time around.

And nominate Another Earth for next time.
rtrocks91 at 2011-08-17 19:13:13:
Ooh, Ooh, Thelma and Louise. Please.

No Country for Old Men
Rocky
or Jaws
Saint716 at 2011-08-17 19:41:46:
Another Earth isn't at mypdfscripts, Drew's, or joblo, sadly.

Fahrenheit 451. I've been meaning to read it for a while so this would be a good opportunity.
Courtney Chambers at 2011-08-17 20:58:33:
Up in the Air -- great movie!
Scott at 2011-08-17 21:13:09:
So at this point, it looks like Farenheit 451, 3:10 to Yuma, and Good Will Hunting are the most popular ones. Let's keep the votes coming in.

My vote goes for...

No Country for Old Men (recent/pushing envelope)

and

Good Will Hunting (huge break for 2 newcomers who smartly took the advice of a genius Hwood vet).
Sean Z P Harris at 2011-08-18 06:34:30:
Good Will Hunting please!
