How bizarre!

I was only just thinking of this series of posts on the way home this evening. I get home, fire up the laptop, and there it is, staring me in the face.

I'm off to have a snoop around at some of the 60 ideas you've put out there.

Sean, CG Jung would call that "synchronicity."

This story could easily get backed and made since the footwork was already laid by "Catch Me If You Can."

That's all I could think about when I read the news story about this kid. Then I started getting meta and thought, what if this kid saw "Catch Me If You Can," decided to go on a similar spree (without the swagger of Frank), only to get caught, then sign a movie deal about his story!

It's like making a copy of a copy on a Xerox machine.

I'd really like to know who the writer is that left his laptop at some agency in Beverly Hills yesterday, the one the cops blew up. Maybe you can score an interview, Scott. It's just an awesome story.

Or how about:

A fed up screenwriter takes a studio executive hostage and forces him to greenlight a picture.

Hmm... not a bad idea, actually... I live close to the studios...
