The idea of all that outlining does not sound good. The idea of a thousand yard stroll in the woods before and after a writing block sounds amazing.

Amos, I like to post these series about writers and how they approach their craft to let folks know there are as many ways to write as there are writers. Like you, the stroll in the woods sounds great to me. However outlining does, too, albeit not as enjoyable as a walk outside.
