I was lucky enough to read "Young Adult." Probably the BEST read since "The Beaver." It's absolutely masterful.

Of course, this also sounds terrific.

While I wasn't a huge fan of "Young Adult", it's clear that Diablo Cody writes with a clear voice and a unique point of view. Her writing is character centric, which I dig. As far as I'm concerned, her success goes a long way to promoting good writing and writers in general.

That's a good thing.

Absolutely! I don't get this dismissive-Cody dynamic by some. Well, actually I guess I do. Some folks are just jealous of her success. Others simply may not like her voice as a writer. But in either / both of those cases, this is a young talent -- and she has loads of talent -- who is writing character-driven stories aimed at people who actually like movies that tell good stories, not just bombast and fury. What's not to like and support about that?

"Lamb of God" looks like a really interesting, compelling, and hopefully funny movie.

Plus it's not a sequel!
