One of the best programs on radio. A few episodes that stick out:

The one with the two brothers -- the older one would scare the younger one when babysitting him by pretending to turn into a werewolf. Years later the younger brother gets his revenge.

The one about the kids who made up a family so they wouldn't have to be at home with their over-bearing mother. The mother still doesn't know the truth some 40 years later.

The high school prom where the tornado hits the town.

And recently just heard the "Last Man Standing" episode with the story about Duke Fightmaster -- the guy who decided he was going to replace Conan O'Brien.

All of these stories have moments of humor tinged with moments of sadness. That's what makes the best ones work -- because they aptly reflect the mixed-up emotions that we all experience in life.

Loved that babysitter episode, which I believe contained both the werewolf story and the made up family.

"The Legend of Bobby Dunbar" was a standout as I remember, too. I'm pretty sure that one is in development. Fascinating story.

I'm a big fan of TAL, but I don't have a subscription to Done Deal. Anyone willing to post the list of 10 in development?

Logline: A man attempts to subvert his girlfriend's desire to settle down by "discovering" the urban tribes trend, of people not getting married but forming friendships that take the place of traditional families, and declaring it the new, hip alternative to commitment. She accompanies him on a research trip, bent on proving that his discovery is idiotic and he should marry her. [2005]

Thanks Scott. I remember hearing about Unaccompanied Minors (which is listed twice). I thought that one came and went already.
