@????? ????: Many thanks for that. Complete brain waste there on my part as I've worked with writers from the Middle East. Never Israel. And as you note, a vibrant film community. I've amended the OP per your comments. What is your background in filmmaking? Again thanks for your post.

Hi,

My name is Sachin Sharma and i'm from Mumbai, India. I'm a writer and i'm still trying to earn my first writing credit on a movie.

I'm 32 and i've been a writer for the last 8 years. Writing is my only true calling and i plan to stay at it for the rest of my life. I define myself as a writer above all else.

I've written for a few sitcoms and television dramas and i’m about to close a deal with a major network here for a drama series that i ideated and developed for a producer.

Finally to you dear Scott, no words of gratitude can be enough for the service you provide to a writer like me. I look forward to each and every one of your posts. I came here about 10 months ago and barely a day goes by now when I don’t check in. Thank you for sharing all this valuable knowledge with us.

I'm Mahmoud

From Egypt.

I'm 21. Finished one script only. Working on another one currently.

Aim to write to two scripts a year.

Struggling, I mean struggling to combine between work and writing.

Oh,

I read GITS everyday. I've asked a couple of questions before if you remember me Mr Scott.
Scott at 2011-06-13 19:30:52:
@Sachin: Great to put some info to a familiar name. And congratulations on your TV series. Please keep me updated on that as it moves forward.
Scott at 2011-06-13 19:32:18:
@Mahmoud: Certainly I recognize you via your comments and questions. Two scripts a year is a worthy goal. You can accomplish that writing just 1 page per day. Best of luck with all your creative endeavors.

Hi Scott, iam SK Tagore from India. Iam a wannabe film maker. I've nt started my screenplay yet, but i think I hav an idea of wat i'll be writing first.
Rightnow I am a freelance (not busy) graphic designer and 3d artist. I've won a couple of online shortiflm/Ad contests.(thats wat i do fr money...but still its a gr8creative assignment).

My very first visit to GITS was when I googled for the analysis of the film "As good as it gets" and I got it from GITS, a gr8 analysis.

Since then I fell in love with that film, and screenwriting, and GITS.
I Really learned a lot from GITS, Thanks Scott. Thankyou so much.

@SK Tagore: Another Twitter follower, I believe. Great to 'meet' you, always makes me happy to find a fellow lover of movies. I hope that passion leads to wonderful things for you both personally and professionally.
