Wow. A reason to get excited about broadcast TV again.

It's a genius of a concept. So well rounded. Plus he has a knack for creating such intensely deep and relatable characters.

Also fascinating to see some of the same ideas surfacing again and again in Mr. Killen's work. From dual lives right down to something as simple as wearing a rubber band. He's an example of someone who trusts his instincts, it seems.

I hope this is not another example of something too smart for its own good.

This reminds me of the Demi Moore film "Passion of Mind" (2000). And a little of the Gwyneth Paltrow film "Sliding Doors(1998). But I am looking forward to this show. So far from this clip it looks miles ahead of Killen's "Lone Star" which I found lacking in the lead's charisma. Jason Isaacs is certainly a compelling actor.

It also shares some similarities with the graphic novel "Revolver." But it looks great.

Eh, not for me... Too many echoes of Inception and season 6 of Lost. That seem to be the audience capture they're going for, at any rate.

And why does the protag have to be yet another TV detective?? Yawn.
