I have seen and own a copy of Buffalo 66 - I like it a lot actually. Vincent Gallo is a talented guy, albeit eccentric. He was great in Tetro. I didn't catch Essential Killing in the theatre but it's in my Netflix queue. Anyone seen it? He plays an escaped convict on the run and he doesn't have a line of dialogue in the entire film. I can't think of another film where the main character doesn't speak at all. Silent movies or Marlee Matlin films doesn't count :)

Re the house (in South Carolina I believe) where Big Chill was filmed, the same house as used with Great Santini, being a military brat who was stationed in Alabama in the 60s, Santini is one of my touchstone movies.
