Tombstone has some of the finest dialogue ever put down on paper or up on the big screen. RIP Mr. Jarre, your work will be forever memorialized in your films.

Glory was one of my favorite films growing up. Entire cast is terrific, great Horner score, heartbreaking and uplifting and all that stuff.

I happened to watch it recently and it holds up rather well. I actually just noticed one particularly nice touch from a screenwriting perspective: the men of the 54th don't receive their full uniforms until Broderick joins them in the protest about the black soldiers' decreased pay, in essence finally seeing his men as equals. Great visual representation of Broderick's character, a young man who was initially unprepared to understand, much less lead, a group into battle.

That's a bummer. Great movie.

Hope he made the final cut.

Tombstone is simply a great western, and Kilmer's best role - really brings Doc Holliday to life. Fantastic writer.
