This reminds me of the story about the mistaken identity of two college students after a car crash. One died on the scene. The other spent weeks in the hospital as the other girl's family nursed her back to health. Surely there is a Lifetime movie about this already, but the mistaken identity thing opens up a world of possibilities.

Wow, Liz! I totally have that story as another one of the series of daily story ideas. Actually tie it to a short story by T.S. Boyle with a similar premise. Look for that in a few weeks.
