I've been reading your blog for about 2 years now and it's been a great inspiration to me so thank you very much and please keep up the good work!

My background is in film distribution but about 6 months ago I decided that I would try and fulfil a lifelong dream of being a scriptwriter. Now I’m at AFTRS film school in Sydney and loving every minute of it.

I just started reading "Go Into Story" on a regular basis. I maintain a writing blog called "Plum Point" -- reflecting on the writing life -- craft, fiction, nonfiction, and screenwriting. I started working on a screenplay, so postings will now focus on that process.

Scott,
I've been reading your wonderful blog since about summer of '09 and it has been quite the learning experience ever since. Much like Brad, I've been trying to write a "scene a week" and post it on my blog. In order to expand my horizons, I pick a genre or sub-genre at random and try to combine what has worked for others with my thoughts on the genre. I've actually posted a few scenes on the GITS board for feedback (a great place for writer feedback). It's challenging but I recommend it to anybody who feels stuck in a specific genre.
