Howard Overman is on a roll at the moment it seems. Here in the UK he's probably best known for being creator of "Misfits" which is hands down the best superhero program in recent memory. To paraphrase one of the characters, Kelly, it kicked "Heroes"so hard in the c*** that Tim Kring's mum felt it.

His other recent output has been the detective comedy "Vexed" which was nowhere near as good as "Misfits" but still pretty funny, and an adaptation of Douglas Adam's "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" which I've now managed to miss twice.

Sometimes his scripts are carried by the director (Tom Green on Misfits is top drawer) or the performer (Toby Stephens in Vexed & Robert Sheehan in Misfits both take some iffy dialogue at times and just run so hard with it you have to love them for it) so I'll be interested to see how this one turns out.

Definitely excited by it - and hope that it doesn't share to much narrative DNA with the script I'm currently working on too. After the Jonathan Ross incident, karma owes me a little luck (I hope!).
