It's funny that there was ever a time when scripts didn't need to be at a professional level. I think, like many professions these days, screenwriting suffers because of the unwarranted successses in the past.

I think it's very true. In fact I read a friend's coverage the other day that said things like "the action was very toungue in cheek but there is a concept here with a big budget... etc" It actually talked about a big budget a lot which was weird to see. It got a consider but from reading the coverage and the comments you'd wonder how it did.

And I have no idea where the coverage was from which might matter.
