The King's Speech is easily one of my top 10 all-time favorite movies. I loved everything about it.

Hey guys. Love this series, and particularly The King's Speech. I haven't read the script, but the final movie is quite spectacular, especially considering it's mainly about two men sitting around talking. Or trying to.

Main thing I wanted to comment on was that Creative Screenwriting released a podcast with David Seidler, where he discussed a lot of things. Very interesting man, and I love the work he did for this film. (I was actually at the live screening/Q&A for the CS show - my question was about how he noted in the script on how Firth would portray the stammering.)

Just double-checked and actually I don't believe it's been released yet. (Figures why I couldn't find a link.)

@Scott: Ooooh, cake! As long as it's not a lie or the only option to death (my two favorite cake references, shout out Portal and Eddie Izzard), cake is yummy. As are obscure reference sources. And maps. Had a happy map moment this week. Thanks to yummy google earth, and a cousin who traveled the world and spent a good chunk of time in Christchurch, New Zealand, I knew that Denis Dutton lived surrounded by beauty, and that made me happy. His recent passing is such a loss (obit here). His wonderful TED talk, with fabulous animated illustration, on humanity and beauty, is here.
