Such a lovely sentiment in your blog post, MaryP! (Unable to post comment, login issue, so responding here.) Thank you! What I've noticed in other mediums, steep in craft, do the work, and magic starts happening over time, most especially that you can see more and more (including how far you still have to go, and that is truly a lovely place to be, means you've gotten high up a mountain). I hope in 2011 to start being able to feel the music in the words I write, and not feel like I'm cobbling together a two-step dance that will likely trip the dancers. From two left feet to Fred Astaire my goal with words in 2011.

My wish for 2011 is to complete a first draft and revision of the script that been tumbling around in my brain for a couple of years now. To see what has only been ideas finally on the printed page would be wonderful.

I have a goal of attending Lew Hunter's writing retreat in Nebraska. It would truly take a miracle for me to raise the funds.

And despite being a working class feller, I'm wishing for enough time to knock out two or three screenplays this year.
