Great stuff. That sentence reminds me of the opening line from Franz Kafka's The Trial:

"Someone must have been telling lies about Joseph K., for without having done anything wrong he was arrested one fine morning."

Minimal and to the point. In one sentence we already know so much and we are intrigued.
