First of all, being based in the UK, I'd like to say a hearty "HAH!" to those who aren't.

If you want to access the iPlayer you can try using Hotspot Shield (hotspotshield.com) which will act as a form of proxy server, making the iPlayer think you're accessing it from within the UK. The downside is the very limited bandwidth.

You could also access the iPlayer using a proxy server located within the UK. There are free proxy server services available, but they have limited bandwidths.

@Katie: Happy to know I've got readers in Wales. I have a good friend whose grandparents are from Wales and he visits there every few years.
