I like the one page a day approach, mainly because I usually can't stop at one page and end up writing 4 - 5 pages... at that rate it'll take less than a month to finish a first draft... it also gives ample reflection time to come up with enhanced ideas.

I also like to stop writing in the middle of a scene, so when I start up the next day I'm instantly typing...

I write 5 pages a day except on Fridays, where I rest my head and read a classic script.
