Anyone know of a group in Montreal Canada?

There are a few in the SF Bay Area, CA.

I am a member of the San Francisco Screenwriters meetup group.

We meet twice a month at Borders and we can bring up to 10 pages for a table read.

It helps because it gives you instant feedback. You can hear the dialog out loud. You can bounce ideas off members. Some of the members work in the industry so they have good knowledge of what works and what doesn't work.

The only drawback is that sometimes it's a little too popular. If you have a dozen people show up with 10 pages each. The sessions could run for several hours.

Thanks for the info...I just put in my info to get involved in my local screenwriting group.

Its just nice to be able to talk shop with someone who understands what it means to watch a blank page waiting for the magic.
