I say worry less about the credit sequence, and devote more energy to a compelling opening, dynamic story, engaging characters, sparkling dialogue, etc, etc.

daveed: In the meta view of writing, I concur 100%. From time to time, however, these particular sticky points arise. Best to deal with them definitively, then move on -- which I think we've done with the subject of credit sequences.
