Jim Henson has another "short." It's a teleplay about a man stuck inside a box. I think it's called "The Cube." But I might be mistaking.

Influence isn't a strong enough word -- and rip-off isn't right, cause it's not, but...

The jail without walls scene of George Lucas's THX 1138 is unquestionably HEAVILY influenced by it.

Also, Time Piece reminds me of a lot of George Lucas's student films.

I often wonder if the ingenuity we're seeing on YouTube is akin to what these early movie makers were pioneering.
