Even though it was similar to the racial slur montage in Do The Right Thing (Dago, wop, garlic-breath, guinea, pizza-slinging....) it still has a truth at the core that exist under the surface. That truth being how people "really" feel. Maybe not ever minute of the day but at times. I remember seeing it in the theater and everyone just laughed. It resonates.

I find this to be a fantastic choice to put up for Daily Dialogue, a sit is one of my favorite movie monologues of all time. It casts an uncompromising insight upon all of society and every group within it, but more importantly it casts an unrelenting light upon the narrator himself.

I've never seen the movie. When I read the dialogue, I imagined Norton delivering a rage to someone. And that's good. Great lines. But, as it's actually done in the film, it's fantastic. The shots of the people he's talking about, many of them looking at the camera, some having lines of their own - super creative. Really puts you in Norton's character's head.
