My God Scott. This is huge. I can't tell you how happy I am to see you take things to this next (obvious) phase.

In some ways, this is the "game changer." You are offering, in one tidy package, everything an aspiring screenwriter could want. All they really need to do is bring their drive and natural talents.

I've been along for the GITS ride for most of your run. Watching it morph into something like the Master Class gives me something that is so rare in this biz... hope and optimism.

Scott, this sounds great. But does it affect your teaching through the UCLA Online Extension? Last week I saw that your Archetypes short course was scheduled for February 2011, but now the website is saying it's not available.

@DWS: I'm planning on expanding what I teach re character archetypes -- and indeed for all of what I've been teaching at UCLA Ext -- for Screenwriting Master Class. So for the time being, I am on hiatus at UCLA X and focusing all my energy on SMC.
