I love Clerks, and all of Kevin Smith's films. but, Clerks specifically because of the dialogue. In many ways, I consider the dialogue in Clerks to be better than the dialogue in Pulp Fiction. Maybe because Clerks was about something more directly connected to me in real life then the criminal elements in Pulp Fiction. Don't get me wrong, I consider both films to be classic masterpieces.

One of my fav callbacks is from the screenwriter quoted today - Marc Norman. "It's a mystery." Used numerous times by different characters in Shakespeare in Love.
