Just finished it. Loved it. Loved the conflict of the main character against the actions taking by others in the story. Very, very, interesting view of modern america. From urbanites to the suburbs. Old and Young. And how age and time affects us all.

Well-written, but pretty awful. I wish I knew why writers think it's so cool to invent edgy characters nothing like themselves and put them through all sorts of sordid and sleazy changes. Is everybody just trying to out-sleaze everyone else?
