Female action protagonists is a good trend, hope it continues - I'm writing one now.

The three hour Directors cut version of Watchmen is pretty damn good. Kind of like the Directors cut of Kingdom of Heaven. Everyone once in awhile studios should say f it. Let it be three hours if it serves the story. I know that less shows, but whatever.

My favorite Snyder film is easily Dawn of the Dead, because there was actually some substance (albeit minor) to go along with the style, which didn't look like two computers making love, as his later films do.

Snyder has to make a film with some meaning or purpose if he wants to be seen as anything more than a glorified special effects artist. I don't mean he has to go Kubrick on us, but this looks like a damn B movie with an inflated budget.

I'm all in favor of female protags in genres other than horror and drama, but I'm going to pass hardcore on this one.

It would be a true step forward if the female protagonists didn't neccessarilly have to be blonde, under 25 and in their underwear.
I can't even begin to get excited about a film like this...

Have to agree with Lazzard. Looks like soft-core manga porn crossed with a videogame. Got no idea of the story (if there is one) from this trailer at all. It's all eye-candy.

I love Zack Snyder movies.

They're so much fun. This movie especially is an original idea of his.
