I think I needed to hear it!

Sometimes I get so wrapped up in things...

The frustrations of things not falling into place the way they should (eventually they do)

The many slumps that I cannot seem to get out of (but do)

And the chance of becoming one of the few that do make it (I hope)

With all of that going on, sometimes I forget to enjoy the process.

But when things turn sour and I want to throw this laptop underneath a moving bus, I take a step back and remember the little things...

Remembering the first time I told a close friend that I completed a one-hundred page screenplay. Their mouth dropped.

Many folks start, but never finish. Makes this world a lot smaller.

Puts a smile on my face.

And of course...this blog.

Thanks again Scott!

Yeah Scott... what Courtney said. You always drive one outta' da' park and sometimes you drive one completely out of the stands, past the parking lot, and well onto the freeway heading into the field.

This post was one of those.

Wow great post. I hope people realize how important the spiritual part of this process that your talking about is...

Thank you for answering my question. So, in other words, a Spec script is a script a writer writes without being payed to do it? Well then, I've got several Spec scripts.
