Seems to me that Dreamworks at $370mil a pop is still doing OK. Last I looked, development costs were under $200mil. I'd settle for that profit margin.

Also quite interestingly is that the highest peaks are not Pixar's. Just goes to show you that all those highly paid Pixar executives still have trouble determining what families will go for.

Wow, Ballish, you found a really flimsy, narrow, cynical "flaw" in Pixar's string of giant Oscar-winning hits, versus the studio that gave us SHARK'S TALE. The SHREK movies did well, though not with critics or even in fan's memories. Yes, a truly powerful argument. Pixar must have no idea what they're doing. A string of 11 monster hits is an indication something is not working, according to you.

(Btw, yesterday I was in an aquarium where I saw a little girl point at a fish and say "It's Nemo!". No one said anything about SHARK'S TALE, oddly.)
