"Unbreakable" was probably amazing on paper, but the directing held it back... there were too many "pretty" scenes that dragged on and gutted the movie of its "drive". The underlying principle of the flick was great, especially when all the pieces click together at the end.

"Signs" was pretty good from top to bottom, and the box office gross reflects that, though it didn't do Sixth Sense business. Quality acting throughout sustained it through scenes that drag MNS' other movies to a stop.

But the rest... yeah, not so much. MNS swung and missed, but props to the guy for swinging hard.
