It might be time to start something else. Once I get done a draft, I like to let a sit dormant for at least a month... so I can go back to it with fresh eyes and a revitalized imagination.

Remember, there's supposed to be an element of fun and excitement to writing. If you've been working on the same script continuously for five drafts, the fun factor has definitely vacated the premises.

Hi Scott, Thankyou sooo much that This post actually gave me a lot of hope for my story.

iam a beginner in screenwriting(though i created a couple of shortfilms). RightNow i have started working on a new story. I have only bits and pieces of info about how the story is going to be(not a clear idea). The only thing iam clear about is that I know who and how many are my major characters in the story.

But , with your list of questions, given in this post iam quite happy iam getting into somthing. Now Iam sure iam going to write something tonight.
