Whoa! Obscure bit of trivia, to be sure. 'fraid I can't help on that but I do have an interesting little tidbit on that topic.

Working at a small corner video store throughout the 90's, I used to get some pretty cool promotional junk. Polygram Films were especially cool and creative. When FARGO came out, they put out a VHS edition that came with a snowglobe. Within was a representation of Marge standing over the bloodied bodies in the snow of the initial crime scene in the tundra of Brainard, MN. (sadly, a few years back, the water within yellowed with time and began to leak so it was off to the dumpster for that knickknack.)

For THE USUAL SUSPECTS, their care package included a copy of the shooting script and a nifty gold lighter like the one you described.

Not that it will help but the one Polygram put out as swag was just a simple Zippo with the movie's logo on the side. :D

maybe if someone knew the props people? this may be a much more difficult pathway but the props/costume/art people i've known never forget anything they've used.
