Oh, and one more - The fantastic dinner table scene in Jaws, where the son is mimicking his dad, and they both start making faces at each other. No words, but boy - do we ever understand the stakes, if Brody doesn't "snap to" and get himself together. :)

You might be looking me. I made a comment in a post about a Clint Eastwood scene that had no dialogue, but 'explained' his character by his actions towards his house and said that it would be interesting to look for more scenes like that -- where there's no talk but a feel for the character by what they do. or don't do.

There are a number of great scenes with no dialogue from Where the Wild Things Are. Specifically, the ending of the movie where Max decides to leave the island and returns home to find his dinner is still hot. Shame I can't find an embeddable video of it.
